2009 Mount Alexander Pinot Noir

A ripe full bodied Pinot Noir that was matured for 12 months in French oak. Deep dark red colour with dark red mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of black cherries, dark plum, anise and toast. Medium weight the palate is quite generous with flavours of dark cherries, dark plum and a touch of liquorice followed by a spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins with medium to long aftertaste of black cherry, dark plum and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
