2009 Mother of Pearl Cabernet Merlot

Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant, ripe mulberry and spicy cedar with a light mint overlay. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers flavours of blackcurrant, ripe mulberry and spice followed by some vanilla cedar like characters. Fine grained, slightly dryish but balanced tannins. Aftertaste of ripe mulberry and spicy vanillin cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
