2009 Moss Wood Vineyard Chardonnay

A superb full bodied Chardonnay from Moss Wood

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Brilliant greenish tinged straw colour with very pale straw almost watery hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of white peach, spicy toasted oak and cashew followed by some honeycomb. Medium to full bodied the palate is quite rich with mouthfilling flavours of white peach, toasty oak, spice and cashew followed by some hazelnut like characters on the back palate. Clean dry finish with long spice, toasty oak, lees, cashew and hazelnut aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years (2011-2016)
