2009 Moppity Vineyards Hilltops Shiraz

Co-fermented with a small amount of Viognier this Shiraz displays a near opaque dark crimson black colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary followed by a hint of pepper. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers a generous but relatively refined flavour profile of blackberry, liquorice, confectionary and spice. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2015-2016).
