Minot was established in the mid eighties by Ken & Madeline Miles. Initially the pair were content to remain as growers, supplying high quality fruit to several well known producers. Their tiny operation (around 800-1200 cases per year) has now commenced marketing under their own label. Situated south west of the township of Margaret River, Clive Otto has been employed as winemaker, famous for his time at Vasse Felix, where he established a highly regarded reputation and won Winestate’s 'Winemaker Of the Year'. He now also makes wines for Fraser Gallop, previously offered in Vintage Direct.

Produced from a blend of 54% Sauvignon Blanc and 46% Semillon. Brilliant pale straw colour with water like hue. Lifted aromas of gooseberry, tropical fruit and confectionary, with some spice end notes – an intense sniff. Excellent weight with mouthfilling texture. The flavours are at the riper end of the spectrum - tropical fruit and ripe gooseberry with some citrus and spice back palate characteristics. Clean, crisp acid finish with aftertaste of tropical fruit, citrus and spice.
Drink over the next 12 months.
