The fruit for this wine was sourced from four different sub regions of Central Otago - Gibbston Valley (31%), Bannockburn (26%), Queensbury (31%) and Wanaka (12%) with each sub region making it’s own unique contribution to the final blend. Maturation took place in French oak for 12 months.

A Pinot with explosive power delivering outstanding flavour persistence and superb richness all wrapped up in a plush mouthfeel.

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with mauve crimson hue. The nose displays a perfumed sniff of violets, dark cherry and spice with a toasty game like overlay. The palate possesses an excellent power wave of flavour with rich dark cherries, violet infusions and dark plum followed by some spice and light toasty oak. Velvet smooth tannins with very long dark cherry, dark plum, spice and toasty cedar aftertaste.
