A fantastic entry level Pinot Noir from Martinborough Vineyards
Semi translucent dark crimson red mauve colour with mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, dark cherry, strawberry and spice delivering excellent varietal character and intensity. Good palate weight with an almost joosy like texture. Flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries are followed by a touch of anise with a spicy back palate. Excellent depth and power wave with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of dark cherry, strawberry and spice.
