2009 Marchand & Burch Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Bright dark crimson red colour, semi translucent but showing good depth, with crimson red hue. Showing good lift the nose has scents of black cherry and dark plum followed by some meatiness and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight the palate possesses generous black cherry flavours followed by some dark plum, meaty characters, earth and spice. Sturdy but fine grained tannins. Good power with medium to long aftertaste of black cherries some meaty earthiness and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.
