This 60% Grenache combined with Syrah and Carignan blend displays a very deep dark crimson purple colour with crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of raspberry, dark plum and spice. Medium weight, the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry, plum and spicy dried meats. Soft fine grained tannins. Dry finish. Spicy dark cherry & dried meat aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years (2013-2014)
An outstanding bargain...a pretty, Burgundian-styled effort displaying lots of forest floor, red berry and cherry notes intermixed with a hint of spring flowers, good density, medium body and soft tannin.
