2009 Langmeil Jackaman's Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak for 2 years of which 60% was new. Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays ripe dark mulberry, blackcurrant and cedar top notes followed by some light tobacco and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has generous flavours of ripe blackcurrant, some liquorice and dark mulberry with a cedary overlay and spicy back palate. Very fine grained slightly dryish tannins. Excellent depth with long ripe dark mulberry, blackcurrant and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
