Established in 1997 Kilikanoon has quickly established a reputation for producing world class iconic Shiraz from vineyards located in the Barossa & Clare Valley’s. Winemaker Kevin Mitchell has also turned his hand to more budget priced offerings, producing wines that offer ‘Killer Value’ under the Killerman’s Run label, with fruit being sourced from a range of low yielding vineyards located throughout South Australia. US wine guru Robert Parker describes Kilikanoon as “one of the most brilliantly run wineries in Australia….. thanks to the enviable talents of winemaker Kevin Mitchell.”

A blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Grenache that has been matured in a combination of older French and American oak casks. Opaque, black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe dark plum and dark raspberry followed by some liquorice and spice. Full bodied the palate exhibits very ripe and joosy flavours of black raspberry and liquorice followed by some plum with a spicy back palate. Soft, fine grained tannins. Plump mouthfeel with long aftertaste of dark raspberry, blackberry, liquorice and spice.
