2009 Kerrigan & Berry Cabernet Sauvignon

A 50/50 blend of Margaret River and Mount Barker sourced fruit. Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of perfectly ripened blackcurrant mingling with some dark mulberry overlaid by cedar, some tobacco like characters and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses mouthfilling rich ripe blackcurrant fruit followed by some mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice. Slightly dryish but perfectly integrated velvet like tannins. Excellent depth with long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
