2009 Juniper Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 15 months in French oak barriques. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackcurrant intermixed with dark mulberry followed by some cedar, cigar box and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers rich blackcurrant and dark mulberry flavours with some underlying cedar, tobacco, cigar box like characters and spice. Fine grained structured tannins. Excellent depth with long blackcurrant, dark mulberry, cigar box and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
