2009 John Duval Wines Plexus Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre

The 2009 Plexus is a blend of 48% Shiraz, 31% Grenache and 21% Mourvedre. Deep dark crimson red colour with bright crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of blackberry, dark raspberry and ripe plum followed by some spice end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers generous, almost joosy flavours of blackberry, dark raspberry and black cherry followed by some spicy plum. Very soft fine grained tannins. Soft fleshy mouthfeel with long aftertaste of dark raspberry, dark plum, spice and pepper.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
