2009 Hungerford Hill Hunter Valley Shiraz

Deep crimson purple colour with purple mauve hue. Subdued aromas of inky black cherry and plum followed by a hint of spice. The palate is quite light in weight for a Shiraz with elegant flavours of black cherry, plum and earthy spice displaying only moderate length. Fine grained tannins with short aftertaste of dark cherry and spice. A lightly concentrated Shiraz that lacks depth and power.
Cellar 1-2 years (2011-2012).
