2009 Hesketh Thirsty Dog Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black deep dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrants, dark mulberry, cedar, cigar box and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has generous ripe blackcurrant and dark mulberry flavours supported by some cedar, cigar box characters and some spice on the back palate. Dryish finish but very fine grained tannins. Good depth with long ripe blackcurrant, cedary cigar box and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
