2009 Helm Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque dark red black colour with deep dark red verging on brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate alongside some minty bay leaf like characters with underlying cedar and subtle earth. Full bodied the palate possesses rich blackcurrant flavours followed by some dark chocolate and mintiness with underlying spicy cedar. Fine grained sturdy tannins with long blackcurrant, choc mint and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2013-2017).
