Deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. On the nose aromas of ripe raspberry, stewed plum, leather and spice. Medium bodied the palate possesses flavours of ripe dark raspberry, plum and a touch of liquorice and some spice. Dryish finish with firmish, slightly grippy tannins. Aftertaste of ripe raspberry, plum, leathery liquorice and spice.
