2009 Grosset Springvale Watervale Riesling

Brilliant pale straw water like colour with a tinge of green and watery hue. Aromas of freshly squeezed lemon and mineral dominate followed by some lime and a touch of orange rind. Steely palate structure with flavours of lime juice, lemon, unripe mandarin and mineral supported by a very crisp acid backbone giving the wine razor sharp precision. Very long citrus, flinty mineral and lime aftertaste. Drink now with a plate of fresh oysters or cellar for further development.
