2009 Gran Rojo Vino De La Tierra De Castilla Garnacha

Near opaque deep purple crimson colour with purple mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of dark cherry, black raspberry and spice are followed by some earthy toast like end notes. Medium weight the palate is quite joosy and displays good depth with spicy dark cherry and black raspberry flavours followed by some meaty earth like characters on the back palate. Very fine grained soft tannins with long aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and raspberry. A very flavoursome, medium bodied Grenache.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
