2009 Gotham Regional Vineyard Series Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

90% of this wine was matured in 1 & 2 year old barrels with just 10% being matured in new American oak. Opaque very deep dark red colour with deep brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate and mint. Thickly textured and rich the palate delivers opulent flavours of cassis, dark chocolate, mint and a touch of spice. Very soft velvety tannins. Aftertaste of cassis, dark chocolate and spicy mint.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
