2009 First Drop Wines Pintor Tempranillo

Matured for 24 months in 40% new French oak and 60% older French oak. Opaque deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. Aromas of very ripe dark cherries, some liquorice, earthy cedar and spice. Full bodied palate with mouthfilling flavours of black cherry, dark chocolate, earthy cedar and spice. Fine grained slightly dryish tannins. Long aftertaste of dark cherry, dark chocolate and spicy earthy cedar.
Cellar 2-3 years.
