2009 First Drop Wines Minchia Montelpulciano

Totally opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red purple hue. The nose displays scents of ripe dark cherry, dark chocolate, some vanillin oak characters and a touch of liquorice. Plush and sumptuous the palate delivers flavours of dark chocolate, black plum, liquorice and black cherry followed by a touch of spice. Voluptuous mouthfeel with silky smooth well rounded tannins. Excellent depth with long black cherry, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice aftertaste. A big ,rich, dark Montepulciano.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
