2009 Fire Block Old Vine Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits lifted liquorice top notes followed by scents of blackberry, toasty oak and confectionary. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich blackberry and liquorice flavours with a strong toasty overlay followed by some spice on the back palate. Opulent mouthfeel with very fine grained velvet like tannins. Medium to long liquorice, toasty oak and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
