2009 Eagle Vale Shiraz

Opaque deep dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of blackberries, liquorice, blackpepper, smoky oak and spice. Medium weight the palate is quite elegant displaying flavours of blackberry, liquorice, spice and dried meats. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Moderate depth with aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and meaty spice.
Cellar 2-3 years (2014-2015).
