2009 Ducks in a Row Erect Habit Mataro

Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark red purple hue. The nose displays youthful aromas of freshly crushed berries including blackberry, dark cherry and dark plum followed by a touch of liquorice and spice. Full bodied, rich and joosy the palate delivers fully ripened flavours of liquorice, blackberry and meaty earth like characters followed by a spicy finish. Fine grained, slightly dryish but balanced tannins provide excellent structure. Long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, earth and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
