Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose offers up lifted scents of black cherries along with some liquorice, meaty earth like characters and spicy cedar end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses rich black cherry flavours followed by some liquorice with earth, cedar and spice present on the back palate. Dry and slightly chewy on the finish with solid but balanced tannin structure. Medium to long black cherry, liquorice, earth and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
