2009 Domaine Taupenot Merme Gevrey Chambertin

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries and dark plum followed by some game, cedar and spice. Light to medium weight with expressive flavours of ripe dark cherry and dark plum with some underlying earthy cedar and spice. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Supple mouthfeel with aftertaste of ripe dark cherry, plum and spicy cedar.
Cellar 3-4 years.
