2009 Domaine Pavelot Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru Les Vergelesses

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose is a little reluctant at first with aromas of dark cherry, dried meats, earth and cedar emerging. Lighter bodied the palate presents an elegant profile of ripe dark cherries, earthy cedar, a touch of game and spice. Supple mouthfeel with very fine grained tannins. Medium to long ripe dark cherry, cedar and spicy earth aftertaste.
