2009 Clarendon Hills Clarendon Grenache

Excellent depth with near opaque dark crimson red colour with bright crimson hue. The nose is very perfumed with scents of dark raspberry and plum emanating from the glass followed by some liquorice allsorts, meaty characters and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate displays excellent richness with opulent mouthfilling flavours of dark raspberry, liquorice and confectionary with a spicy back palate. Excellent structural components with very fine grained verging on velvet like tannins. Superb depth with long dark raspberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
