2009 Church Road Hawke's Bay Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec and 2% Syrah. Opaque black purple colour with dark purple red hue. The nose offers up an aromatic profile of ripe plum, dark chocolate and blackcurrant with some earth and spicy cedar end notes. Light to medium bodied the palate possesses flavours of blackcurrant and dark chocolate followed by some earthy cedar and spice. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins. Moderate aftertaste of blackcurrant, earthy cedar and spice.

Cellar 3-4 years.
