A well made soft, joosy quaffing red.

Matured for 16 months in a combination of new and older American and French oak hogsheads. Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum are followed by some liquorice and confectionary notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses a joosy texture and flavour profile. Fruity, ripe blackberry and plum flavours dominate, followed by some liquorice allsorts and confectionary. Soft, very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of joosy blackberry, plum and liquorice allsorts.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
