2009 Charles Sturt University Cellar Reserve Cabernet Shiraz

This wine spent 18 months in oak. Opaque deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry, a touch of liquorice and an earthy cedary overlay. Medium weight the palate possesses flavours of dark mulberry, some blackcurrant, tobacco and cedar. Elegant mouthfeel with very fine grained tannins. Dryish finish with aftertaste of dark mulberry, cedary tobacco and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
