2009 Chalk Hill Sidetrack Red

A blend of 60% Shiraz, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Grenache. Deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. The nose displays scented aromas of blackberry, liquorice and raspberry followed by some spice end notes. Medium weight the palate has generous liquorice, blackberry and earthy spice flavours. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
