2009 Carrick Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherry, violets, spice and meaty cedar like notes – a little closed at present gradually becoming more perfumed with air time. Light to medium bodied with a restrained richness that will fill out with further bottle age, the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry and strawberry followed by some plum and cedar with a spicy back palate. Very fine grained tannins. Excellent power wave with long aftertaste of dark cherry, plum, spice and a hint of cedar.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
