2009 Cape Mentelle Chardonnay

Matured in Burgundian coopered French oak for 9 months. Brilliant, pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose displays aromas of biscuit, spice, cashew and light toast with some flinty matchstick overtones. Medium weight with elegant palate structure displaying a very refined flavour profile of biscuit, delicate white peach, spice and cashew, with an overlay of light toast. Dry finish. Good length with long aftertaste of biscuit, lees and spicy cashew.
