2009 Caliterra Tributo Cabernet Sauvignon

It pours a youthful opaque black dark purple colour with deep purple crimson hue. The nose offers up lifted scents of cassis followed by some black cherry, spice and a hint of cedar. The palate boasts excellent weight, richness and intensity for its price point with mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant, cassis, black cherry and hints of spice. Soft, very fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry, spice and a subtle tobacco fade.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
