The Caliterra label has become one of Chile’s more famous wine brands since its inception in 1996. It started as a partnership between the fifth generation family of Eduardo Chadwick of Vina Errazuriz and Californian wine legend, Robert Mondavi. The 'Tributo' Carmenere was aged for 14 months in American and French oak barrels.

Opaque black crimson red colour with deep crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherry, blackberry and tobacco with some spice end notes. Quite rich and loaded with flavour the palate delivers ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry flavours with a cedary tobacco like overlay and spicy back palate. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Good length with long blackcurrant, spicy tobacco and cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2015-2016).
