2009 Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep bright dark red black hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and to a lesser extent mulberry scents overlay a background of black olives, cedary cigar box and spice. The palate remains quite closed and tightly structured with flavours of ripe blackcurrants intermixed with black olives followed by some cedary tobacco characters and spice. The solid firm tannin structure gives the wine a compact feel. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olives, cedary tobacco and spice.
Cellar 6-8 years.
