An equal blend of Grenache and Shiraz that has been matured in seasoned oak. Opaque dark crimson red purple colour with dark red purple hue. Aromas of very ripe black raspberry and blackberry, almost jammy like, are followed by some confectionary and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has a joosy texture with generous flavours of very ripe dark raspberry, blackberry, ripe plum and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with spicy black raspberry and liquorice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
