2009 Brash Higgins CBSV Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak for 2 years of which 90% was new and 10% 1 year old. Totally opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red black hue. The nose possesses good lift with aromas of ripe dark blackcurrant and dark plum followed by some chocolate bullets and vanillin spice. Very full bodied and rich the palate presents itself with bold flavours of ripe blackcurrant, cassis, dark plum and dark chocolate with some vanillin spice on the back palate. The palate structure is solid, a little firmish but balanced. Good depth with long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, cassis, dark chocolate and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
