2009 Bird in Hand Shiraz

A rich full flavoured Shiraz which still possesses the finesse that Adelaide Hills reds are renown for.
Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose displays good perfume with lifted scents of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by some dark chocolate, liquorice and confectionery. Full bodied the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice with some spicy confectionery characters on the back palate. Very generous with a supple mouthfeel and velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years.(2014-2015)
