2009 Best's Great Western Bin 0 Shiraz

Superb totally opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose is an excellent sniff displaying fragrant scents of liquorice, blackberry, dark plum and blackpepper with a light toasty cedar overlay. The palate is a symphony of richness, power and structure all seamlessly integrated delivering mouthfilling flavours of blackberry, meaty spice and liquorice followed by a light toast overlay and peppery back palate. Superb length. Dry but fine grained tannins provide the wine with excellent structure for long term cellaring. Long persistent aftertaste of blackpepper, blackberry, liquorice and meaty spice.
Cellar 8-10 years (2019-2021).
