2009 Ashton Hills Piccadilly Pinot Noir

A perfectly ripened Pinot Noir displaying plenty of richness and a fleshy texture
Semi translucent deep crimson red mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose displaying aromas of anise, dark cherries and violets followed by some cedar and spice showing strong varietal character. Medium bodied the palate delivers rich mouthfilling flavours of dark cherries, anise and spice followed by some gamey cedar like characters on the back palate. Excellent power wave and length. Velvet smooth tannins provide the wine with a soft supple texture. Long aftertaste of dark cherry, anise and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2010-2014)
