2009 Ashbrook Chardonnay

Only 50% of this wine is fermented and matured in new French oak barriques for 7-8 months so as to highlight the wines primary fruit flavours.

Brilliant straw colour with very pale straw watery like hue. The nose displays nectarine and white peach top notes followed by some light citrus and a hint of spicy cashew as an end note. Concentrated palate flavours of white peach and nectarine are followed by spicy cashew. Clean crisp finish with long aftertaste of fresh white peach and spicy cashew.
