2009 Anvers Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with deep dark red black hue. The nose is filled with fresh blackberry and plum juice aromas followed by some liquorice, subtle vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied the palate is dominated by ripe blackberry juice and liquorice flavours which are quite joosy followed by some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Dryish slightly chewy tannins with aftertaste of ripe blackberry juice, liquorice and vanillin oak.
Cellar 4-5 years.
