2009 Amadio Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with dark red verging on brick red hue. The nose displays lifted ripe dark cherry aromas followed by some subtle liquorice, earthy cedar and spice notes. Medium weight palate with generous ripe dark cherry, plum, liquorice and spicy tobacco flavours present. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherry, tobacco, cedar and earthy spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
