2009 Alan McCorkindale Single Vineyard Legend Terrace Pinot Noir

Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted aromas of dark plum and dark cherry are followed by some spice and a hint of cedar as an end note. Full, plumb and fleshy the palate delivers rich mouthfilling flavours of dark plum, spicy anise and dark cherry followed by some light cedar. Good depth with fine grained soft tannins. Aftertatse of dark plum, anise and spicy cedar. A very ripe fleshy central Otago Pinot Noir that will drink well over the next 2-3 years (2013-2014).
