2008 Zonte's Footstep Canto di Lago Sangiovese Barbera

Produced from a blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Barbera, the wine displays a deep dark red colour with brick red mauve hue. Aromas of spicy black cherry are followed by liquorice and a touch of earth as an end note. Flavours of dark cherry, black plum and spice followed by a hint of liquorice. Fine grained soft tannins with long aftertaste of spice, black cherry and dark plum.
