Outstanding value. Maturation took place in a combination of French & American oak barriques for 12 months. Outstanding opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of aniseed, blackberry, ripe plum and confectionary. Opulent ripe palate flavours of liquorice, blackberry, dark plum and blackpepper delivering excellent concentration and weight for its price. Fine grained, slightly dry but balanced tannin structure.
Long aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry and blackpepper.
